My husband and I have been boating since we were kids, hence, our mutual love of the sea. My dad floated my brother and I around the Merrimack in a 14' aluminum, and my husband was water skiing behind a 16' HyLiner in the Berkshires. Before married life, we bought a Golden Retriever puppy, Barney, just to test the waters. We did well raising the little guy and eventually took the plunge into marriage. Just to complicate our new life, we took delivery of our first boat the day after our wedding day, and set off on our honeymoon cruise to Block Island with Barney in tow. That was sixteen years ago. Today we have a family of our own, and two Golden's; Misty an eleven year old rescue dog from LA, and Marley, a four year old that Santa left on our doorstep as a pup.
